The sport of baseball requires conditioning, strength, control, and speed as well as skills training. Our players are constantly working to hone their technique and skills in hitting, pitching, catching, and fielding the ball. Riverside Eagles showcase their speed and talent on the baseball diamond while demonstrating good sportsmanship.

In 2011, Riverside completed major renovations to the baseball complex thanks to a generous donation from RMA alumnus Karl Katterjohn, '64. The baseball field was named Katterjohn Field in his honor. The donation provided a press box, concession stand, and improvements to the dugouts and bleachers that allow for a better overall experience for the fans and athletes.
