RMA’s four-week Summer Leadership Academy, July 5 – 31, will combine robust academics, recreational and athletic activities, and leadership training led by RMA’s experienced staff and faculty. Students will be mentored in an environment of character development, confidence building, teamwork, and fun.
Priority registrations begins March 22. Registrations after June 15 cannot guarantee placement in requested classes or programs. Courses that don't make the minimum enrollment by June 15 may be cancelled. Deadline for application submission and contract signed: June 21, if application is submitted after this date, an additional $25 fee will be added to his account. Deadline for contract completion: June 28.
Students may choose between courses from RMA’s signature programs like cyber security and aerospace engineering. STEM-focused classes, college preparation, and remedial course work will also be offered. A distinct band program (two weeks) is available for current RMA band members as well as newcomers who want to participate in comprehensive performance-based music training.
The leadership track will be led by RMA’s Commandant, Chaplain, and JROTC instructors with guest presentations by area business, education, and civic leaders, including RMA alumni. Leadership training includes classroom instruction, practical exercises and projects, team building, community service, and peer leadership opportunities.
Summer Leadership Academy Tuition
Cost for the four-week program includes instruction, food and boarding, laundry, transportation during the academy, and uniforms. Some extra-curricular activities may incur an additional cost.
