RMA Robotics Team the Eagle Bots 2019 Kickoff

January 5, 2019, two days before cadets are back in class, the FRC Robotics Competition kicks off beginning with opening the mission seals and crates delivered. Already days behind, the RMA Eagle Bots will now have to work fast and meet every day to build their Robot. That first Monday their Coach, Major Salas, will unveil the enormous crate of robotic part he’d picked up at FRC Cargo Movement Deep Space Station (GA Tech).
The Eagle Bots will be involved in designing the RMA Robot 7060 to meet the DEEP SPACE challenges using computer aided design software.
For six-weeks straight, they will get hands-on experience building the robot from scratch, writing programming code, and field testing. This is preparation forentering their first Robotics Competition on March 1-3, 2019. The three day event we’re all waiting for will be held here at RMA. The event is open to the public.

The team is formed and ready to storm at the FRC at RMA and Dalton the following week.
