RMA Drill Team and Color Guard Compete in State Meet

The RMA Drill Team and Color Guard's finished the season strong by executing 5th place in the State Meet.
On Saturday, March 17th, the Drill Team departed campus at 05:30 am and traveled to Griffin High School, Griffin, GA, where the State Drill Meet was held. The team participated in the following events: squad armed regulation, platoon armed regulation, platoon unarmed regulation, squad armed exhibition, platoon armed exhibition, solo exhibition, and dual exhibition.
 
RMA took 5th place in the platoon exhibition and cadets Le and Paull took 3rd place in the dual exhibition. Ten cadets participated in the knock-out drill event with approximately 200 cadets from other schools also competing. Due to new members and only four cadets returning from last years team, overall we had a successful season. The cadets learned a lot about themselves and about each team member on how they can contribute to the team.
 
Cadets that attended the state drill meet were: Kiet Le, Ryan Lyes, John Paull, Benjamin Petrella, Robert Daniel, Joseph Metsala, David Stewart, Derick Lewis, Christian Huang, Brian Lewis, Gavin Glover, Anh Bong, Luke Filos, Breckin Potter, Jerohn Finch, Austin Waring, and James Hart.
