Cadet Ayaz Mustafa Secures Appointment to the United States Air Force Academy
Riverside Military Academy would like to congratulate Cadet Ayaz Mustafa on his appointment to the United States Air Force Academy.
Ayaz Mustafa, Company Commander of Band Company, has secured an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy. Cadet Mustafa is a senior who participates in Raiders, Swimming, and is a member of the Service Academy Preparation Program. The Service Academy Preparation Program was established in 2016 and serves approved cadets who wish to pursue an academy appointment by coaching them physically, academically, and emotionally through this difficult process. Cadet Mustafa was noted as an exceptional member of this inaugural class and is the first cadet from the Service Academy Prep Program to receive an appointment into one of the five U.S. Service Academies. In addition to this, it is the first time in the last four years that a cadet from Riverside has received a Letter of Assurance. Cadet Ayaz Mustafa was inducted into the National Honor Society in 2015 where he currently serves as president. During his time at Riverside, Ayaz has won four national championships with the Raiders team, three Hall County championships with the Swimming team, served as Drum Captain for two years and sat on the Honor Council for two years. These are just some of the accolades that c/CPT Mustafa has achieved and we are proud to recognize his accomplishments.
