Lee Cleaves Promoted to the Riverside Military Academy Rank of Major
On Thursday, October 26th, Captain Lee Cleaves was promoted to Major during Pass in Review.
On Thursday, October 26th, Captain Lee Cleaves was promoted to Major during Pass in Review. Major Cleaves has been an employee of Riverside Military Academy for 14 consecutive years; he has served as the Band Company TAC Officer since arriving at Riverside. He is also a 26-year veteran of active duty service in the Infantry of the United States Army. His duty assignments included three years of service as a Drill Sergeant, and he was stationed in Korea, Ft. Stewart, the Philippines, Honduras, and Ft. Benning (where he was the Hand-Grenade Live-Fire Range Instructor, when our Commandant, then-Private Spivey, was attending Advanced Infantry Training). Major Cleaves now steps into the role of Chief TAC Officer.
