Registration Notes:
• All registrations will be held at the Sandy Beaver Center. Please do your best to arrive at the specified time while all critical staff is available to support.
• If you will not be accompanying your cadet, please ensure that all enrollment contracts, documents, and required payments have been submitted prior to registration day.
• If your cadet requires transportation from the airport, please forward his itinerary to MAJ Guier at transportation@riversidemilitary.com.
• If you have not paid your deposit on tuition, please do so by contacting the Business Office.
• We are a cashless campus. Do not send your son to campus with cash, but make certain he has a debit or credit card that you control.
Registration Calendar and Instructions
Enrollment documents are online to make the information much easier for you to complete, more accessible for our staff, and to improve your ability to view and modify information as it changes. You can access the enrollment forms once you log-in to your myRMA account. Any unfinished documentation should pop-up as an alert, or be accessed by clicking on your profile on the top right of the screen, and selecting “files and forms”. If you do not remember your login information, please contact the Riverside Admissions Office.
General FAQs
How long will registration take?
Usually, registration takes about 45-90 minutes depending on whether you have completed all of your enrollment documentation, and how many unresolved questions you may have. We recommend completing your enrollment documents online beforehand to expedite the process.
Will there be a new parent orientation?
Due to the intermittent nature of arrivals, we will offer a formal orientation on registration day at varying times. For details on the times and locations, please check with Admissions upon registration.
Will I be able to tour campus on enrollment day if I haven't already?
Similarly to our parent orientation, we will have a few groups ready to provide tours at varying allotted times. Check with Admissions upon registration for further details.
What does my student need to bring with him?
This sounds counter-intuitive, but he doesn’t need to bring anything. The uniform fee will make sure he is given everything from toothbrushes to socks and everything in between. Common exceptions are daily medication, special athletic gear he may want, vitamin supplements, etc. We recommend coming with very little and letting him request more belongings as he learns his needs over time.
Can my student bring his laptop?
Through our technology department's laptop initiative, every student will need a laptop. Students will have to purchase a Chromebook through the academy. Please contact your admissions counselor if you have questions or concerns.
Will I see his academic schedule at registration?
Yes. Please get us his final transcript as soon as possible so the schedule can be prepared by registration.
Will I be able to meet my student's TAC officer?
Most likely not on the day of registration as company assignments are made after enrollment. All new ROCs will be consolidated into the same training company for the first few days. ROC's will be formally assigned to their later, and the company TAC officer will send you a letter on the same evening of the assignment. However, you will meet the Commandant of Cadets along with other critical residential life personnel and parent liaisons on the day of registration.
How will I be able to contact my son during the 30 day ROC Cycle?
For the first two weeks, no direct contact should come from or to the ROCs from parents. If an emergency should arise, please contact commandantstaff@riversidemilitary.com until you know the company assignment of your son. Following his assignment, you will receive the e-mail and phone numbers of his TAC officer.
What payments are due at registration?
Unless alternate accommodations have been made with Admissions or the CFO, any remaining payment in tuition is due upon enrollment. If you haven’t paid the deposit prior to enrollment, the deposit will also be due.
