This ceremony celebrates middle school cadets with a special emphasis on the 8th graders who will be “graduating” or “elevating” from the middle school into the high school program. It is scheduled to coincide with the first available departure date for middle schoolers as a convenience to parents. While middle school cadets may depart as soon as this ceremony is complete (noon), no cadet is required to depart before the campus officially closes on May 19th. Student Affairs is planning a robust schedule of activities for those cadets who remain on campus after the completion of the Elevation Ceremony.
