Riverside Military Academy Tuition

Financing a Riverside education is among the most important investments you can make in your son’s future. We can guarantee that the benefits including state of the art facilities, superior program offerings, and expert staff far outweigh the cost. We have worked hard to make sure that RMA tuition is competitively priced compared to similar boarding schools in our geographic region. However, that does not change the fact that it can be a financial sacrifice to enroll a cadet at Riverside.  Because we respect that commitment, this page outlines common fees in order to provide transparency relative to the true cost of a Riverside education as well as information regarding tuition assistance.

Need Based Financial Aid

We understand that a private school education, such as the one we offer at Riverside Military Academy, provides an unparalleled experience and value to the student, but the cost of this investment sometimes exceeds a family's immediate resources. As such, we offer a need-based financial assistance program to alleviate a portion of the tuition burden from the families. The amount of aid distributed depends on three key items: level of need, availability of funds, and the number of students applying. As a note of importance, we do not evaluate or award financial aid to a student who is not accepted into the academy.

List of 4 items.

  • Apply for Need Based Aid

After the student has been accepted and you determine your need for aid, please visit FACTS. FACTS provides schools with an objective methodology for calculating a family's ability to contribute to educational expenses. Create a login and complete the financial aid application for the current academic year. If you experience problems during the FACTS application process, please call their customer service department at (866) 441-4637.
  • Georgia GOAL

Riverside is proud to partner with the GOAL Scholarship Program, which helps families access better educational opportunities for their children. To be eligible, a family must meet annual income caps and their child must be transferring from a public school in GA to Riverside. Your family will be reviewed for eligibility after you have completed the FACTS Financial Aid Application mentioned above.
  • Georgia Special Needs Scholarship

In some cases, students can be eligible for the GA Special Needs Scholarship (GSNS) Program offered by the GA Department of Education. The GSNS is a school choice program available for students transferring from public to private school, and who are served under an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). To determine eligibility and see what your student may qualify for, go to the GA DOE website.
  • Tuition Loans

Tuition loan programs, such as Your Tuition Solution and Sallie Mae, assist many families in making tuition payments more affordable by providing the funds upfront and spreading the payments over a longer period of time than tuition payment plans allow. Please contact these loan programs directly for current fees, rates, and other details.
