Lieutenant Colonel (R) David Lee has joined Riverside Military Academy as the senior

GAINESVILLE, GA –
 
Lieutenant Colonel (R) David Lee has joined Riverside Military Academy as the senior army instructor in the Academy’s Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) program.
 
“We are fortunate to have an accomplished Lieutenant Colonel leading our JROTC division,” said COL(R) Stas Preczewski, RMA president. “His additional credentials and experience as a lawyer will bring added value and expertise to the classes he teaches. “
 
All ninth through 12th graders at RMA are required to participate in the JROTC program.
 
Lee is an Emory University School of Law graduate and has most recently served with the United States Army as Chief of Administrative Law, advising the First Army Chief of Staff and First Army Commanding General. He has also served as an attorney advisor to Soldiers undergoing the Army’s Disability Evaluation System as well as various other legal positions.
 
From 2006 to 2014 he taught legal concepts and provided legal advice to over 300 leaders in the Army. In addition to his Juris Doctor in law, he earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration and a MBA from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and a Master of Laws (LLM) in military science with a specialty in administrative law from The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School.
 
Lee is a native of Chicago but has called metro Atlanta home since 2001. He has two sons; Jonathan, 16, and Joshua, 13.
 
“It is my honor and pleasure to serve with the staff here at RMA,” said Lee. “I look forward to assisting with the development of the young men who walk the halls of RMA and molding them into men of great stature.”
