RMA Welcomes New VP of Enrollment Management

Riverside Military Academy names Tee Mitchell Vice President of Enrollment Management.
Tee Mitchell has been named Vice President of Enrollment Management at Riverside Military Academy.  Mitchell has over 20 years of experience in admissions, recruitment, and enrollment management at the secondary and post-secondary levels.

“Tee is a proven professional who brings to RMA effective, innovative, and results-oriented leadership.  He has a track record of meeting and exceeding enrollment objectives, and I am pleased to announce his appointment,” said COL Staś Preczewski, president.

Mitchell is following Vice President of Enrollment Management Ben Allen, who has accepted a new position near his family home of St. Simons Island, Georgia.

“Ben and his team did an excellent job keeping our enrollment steady during this past difficult year of COVID 19,” said Preczewski.  “We wish him well in his new endeavor.”

Mitchell, a native of Macon, has most recently served as the associate vice chancellor for enrollment management for the Tennessee Board of Regents.  Previously he served as associate vice president for enrollment management at Valdosta State University where he was responsible for overall student enrollment and shaping the quality and diversity of the undergraduate student body.

Additionally, at Georgia Gwinnett College between 2009-2015 Mitchell led all aspects of admissions operations including the development and implementation of recruitment and marketing materials.  Under his leadership, overall enrollment increased from over 2,947 to over 11,000.

At the secondary level, his experience includes admissions management at First Presbyterian Day School and Tattnall Square Academy, both in Macon.

“I am excited to join the leadership team at Riverside Military Academy as we shape the leaders of tomorrow,” said Mitchell.  “I am blessed to be part of the RMA family and look forward to serving and making a positive impact in the years to come.  We have an incredible enrollment team, and I hope to build on the team atmosphere that we currently have in place to assist with the transition.”

He is a graduate of Mercer University and earned a Master’s in education administration from the University of Phoenix.

Mitchell, his wife, Kea, and their three children will be relocating to Gainesville from Valdosta.
