  • American History/Social Studies Teacher

    Riverside Military Academy is accepting applications for a High School American History/Social Studies Teacher for the 2019-2020 academic year.  Qualified candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in History or Education and have a minimum of three years teaching experience in the secondary school environment.  Teaching certification preferred; uncertified teachers must seek certification within one year of employment.   • Annual Giving Coordinator

    Riverside Military Academy is accepting applications for an Annual Giving Coordinator.  Incumbent is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing a wide variety of sustainable fundraising strategies and tactics through the annual giving program to generate and increase philanthropic support for the institution from alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty/staff, and friends.  With a focus on donor acquisition, retention and increased levels of giving, the coordinator will identify, cultivate, solicit and steward gifts through a variety of strategies including, but not limited to, annual direct mail appeals, social media, special events, phone calls and personal visits. Qualified applicants must possess a related bachelor's degree and two years of fundraising experience, preferably in an education or other non-profit organization.  Must be computer literate with Microsoft Office products and have experience with fundraising/donor management systems.  Must demonstrate a positive, professional image, have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, and have a reputation of impeccable ethical standards.  To apply, complete and send in a non-faculty application along with your updated resume and three letters of reference.

    Riverside Military Academy is seeking a skilled and dynamic Head Baseball Coach for the 2019-2020 school year.  Candidate must possess both the firmness and compassion necessary in a boys' military boarding school.  Qualified applicants will have at least a bachelor's degree, at least five years of varsity coaching experience, and experience as a head coach or as an assistant in a strong baseball program.  Must also have teaching experience; teaching certification preferred.  Must have the reputation for success as head coach or experience as an assistant in a program known for success.  Military experience preferred but not required.  Starting salary depends upons education and experience.  To apply, complete a Faculty application and send it in with an updated resume, college transcripts, and three letters of reference.

    Riverside Military Academy is accepting applications for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk.  Incumbent performs clerical and manual work in the purchasing, receiving, verifying, warehousing, issuing, and shipping of various supplies, materials, and equipment used by the Academy.  High school diploma or equivalency with considerable experience in retail purchasing and stocking and restocking procedures,  Knowledge of customer service and sales principles and processes.  Must be able to lift fifty pounds, push forty pounds, and be able to operate safely from heights on ladders.   To apply, complete and send in a non-faculty application with three letters of reference.

    Riverside Military Academy has an immediate opening for a TAC Officer.  TAC officers ensure cadet development within a safe and secure boarding and day school environment by counseling, evaluating, and reporting cadet’s behavior and performance, ensuring operational and procedural uniformity within and across company lines, supervision of cadet’s quarters, and other duties.  Qualified applicants must be either retired military or have military experience and possess a bachelor’s degree in the field of Social Science or a related field. Drill Sergeant experience strongly preferred.  Applicants must be able to work evening and/or weekend hours.  Because TAC Officers supervise boys in their living quarters, this position meets the BFOQ standard of male applicants only.
