Riverside Military Academy is seeking to fill an opening for part-time  Barber.  Qualified applicants must possess a Barber's license with the State of Georgia.  Incumbent must be able to stand for long periods of time and be available to work non-standard hours that may include some weekend hours during the school year.  To apply, complete a non-faculty application and send it in with an updated resume and three letters of reference.  

On-call Clinic Nurse                             posted 10/25/17

Riverside Military Academy has an immediate opening for an on-call Clinic Nurse.  Qualified applicants must possess an unrestricted LPN license with the State of Georgia and have 2-5 years' nursing experience .  On-call nurses fill in when regular staff nurses are absent or when clinic staffing is low and/or clinic activity is high.  Clinic Nurses must have good availability to work from 6AM - 10PM any day of the week.  To apply, complete a non-faculty application and send it in with an updated resume and three written letters of reference.

Riverside Military Academy has an immediate opening for an Accounting Assistant.  Incumbent will assist Academy's accounting department in a variety of functions including account receivables, account payables, purchase request and purchase order entry and processing, and account reconciliations and compilation of data.  Position requires incumbent to possess at least two years of accounting experience and have working knowledge of computerized accounting.  Must be computer literate and be able to efficiently operate word processing and spreadsheet software.  To apply, complete a non-faculty application and send it in with an updated resume and three letters of reference.

Riverside Military Academy has an upcoming opening for the position of Vice President for Advancement,   The Vice President of Advancement reports to the President of the Academy and serves as the senior development administrator.  Incumbent is charged with designing and implementing an aggressive advancement program in collaboration with Academy leadership, the Board of Trustees, and volunteers.  In addition to leading the Advancement office, incumbent will serve as the President of the Riverside Military Academy Foundation while working closely with the Director of Communications and Public Relations and the Riverside Board of Trustees.   The Academy is in the initial planning stages for its first major capital campaign and is seeking an exceptional leader to continue the work of a professional advancement office and lead the Academy into new fundraising initiatives.    The ideal candidate will have significant experience as a senior develpment/advancement professional and leadership in the execution of a major campaign.  Experience should include successful relationships with major donors and the executive ability to manage the functions of a professional advancement office.  This includes grants applications, alumni relations, annual fund, donor relations, planned giving and coordinating a large volunteer staff.  A working knowledge of current advancement technology is imperative.  Personal characteristics should include an entrepreneurial spirit and the professional demenor to work effectively with senior leaders.  The ability to travel and to establish oneself as a leader in the local community is important.  The successful candidate will have a reputation for vision, energy, competence, and a strong work ethic and judgment.  Impeccable moral and ethical standards with respect for human values are expected.  A formal expression of interest consists of an appropriate letter, a curriculum vitae, and references, if currently available.  Other supporting documents are welcomed.    Interested applicants should send their information to Collegiate Counsel Inc. at rmdv@collegiatecounsel.com. 

Security Officer (part time)                posted  7/14/2017

Riverside Military Academy has an immediate opening for a part-time Security Officer.  Qualified applicants must possess a valid Georgia Driver's License and a clean three-year driving history.  Candidates must also be able to pass a physical fitness test which includes lifting 70 pound dead weight, climbing 4 flights of stairs in 1.25 minutes or less, dragging and carrying a 150 lb dummy for 20 yards, and walking/running 1 mile in 10 minutes or less. Must be able to stand in place for extended periods of time.  Security officers must be able to read and write in English at an 8th grade level.  Prior security work preferred but not required.  Favorable results from a post-hire drug screen and background check which will include a credit report required prior to start date.  To apply, complete a non-faculty application and send it in with an updated resume and three written letters of reference.
