Whitewater Rafting Adventure during Riverside's Summer School Program

Summer Programs at Riverside Military Academy

Riverside Military Academy's summer programs offer our cadets, as well as young men from other schools, the opportunity to learn, grow and excel. Whether you're looking to strengthen or enhance your academic skills with our Summer Opportunity and Academic Review (S.O.A.R.) program or want to attend a camp to improve your game, develop lifelong leadership skills, or just have fun, Riverside's summer programs offer a wide range of options.

Riverside has added a S.O.A.R. Cultural Immersion Program in order to benefit our international and foreign language cadets. English as a Second Language (ESL) cadets will be provided with opportunities to visit other areas such as Virginia and Washington, D.C. where they will enjoy sights and attractions including the Smithsonian Museums, Arlington National Cemetery, and Colonial Williamsburg. They can practice their English conversation skills while also reading and writing in English. The Capstone week of the ESL summer program includes an assignment on the cadets' experiences during their cultural immersion trip. The final week of the program focuses on Leadership Camp and preparation for the upcoming Fall semester.

Summer classes take place on Riverside's 206 acre tree-lined campus, which is situated on the shores of Lake Lanier in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our outstanding dormitory, academic, and recreational facilities create an exceptional place to enjoy the summer while earning academic credit!
