At Riverside Military Academy, a young man may discover a new-found talent and interest in the performing arts!

Riverside cadets have performed a wide range of plays and musicals including The Fantasticks, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The Dining Room, and The Rivals.

Our cadets compete in regional and state competitions, and they frequently receive praise for their performances as well as compliments from directors and actors of competitor schools. Riverside cadets excel in the spotlight!

Chorus

Choral Director: Ms. Lynn Lathem

Riverside cadets often audition and participate in the Georgia Music Educators Association All State Chorus and 9th Distric Honor Chorus. Our vocal ensemble is annually invited to perform in Gainesville's Historic Christmas on Green Street event.

Chorus members participate in the annual RMA Holiday Concert with Riverside concert band members. They sometimes work alongside cadets in the theater department to perform entertaining musicals for the Riverside audience and community members. Our chorus members even audition to sing the National Anthem at sporting events such as the Gwinnett and Atlanta Braves’ games! They also perform during Riverside's Commencement ceremony each May.
