Fencing (Club Sport)

Fencing is a modern Olympic sport as well as a martial art. It combines fun exercise, physical technique, tactical gamesmanship, and mental concentration. Fencing maintains the traditional values of etiquette, honor, and respect.

The Riverside Military Academy Fencing Club is an extra-curricular activity that is open to all Riverside students. Members of the Riverside Military Academy Fencing team do not receive varsity letters. RMA high school students will have the opportunity to compete in the On Guard High School Fencing League of Georgia (OGHSFL) with other area high schools. All RMA students may also attend United States Fencing Association (USFA) local and national tournaments with permission from both an RMA faculty advisor and their parents.

All Forms must be filled out and turned in to the Commandant’s Office in order for a cadet to be permitted to attend RMAFC fencing practice and fencing tournaments.
