Riverside Military Academy Facility Rental
Riverside Military Academy would like to be your choice for your next special event!
Our beautiful Sandy Beaver Center boasts state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and a 725-seat auditorium that is perfect for concerts, recitals, and large meetings. A few of our past guests have included the Citadel Chorale, the Georgia 9th District Chorale Competition, Wayne Newton, and Colin Powell.
Need a comfortable place to hold your next business meeting? The Sandy Beaver Center for Teaching and Learning might be the place for you. Amenities include laptop accessibility to an in-place Smart Board and two pull down screens with a ceiling-hung projector. There is seating for 30.
Our spacious John L. Beaver Field House with indoor track and overhead projection capabilities is 150’W x 300’L and has bleacher seating capabilities of 1,100.
Our stately Alumni Hall Dining Facility can seat 500 comfortably amidst flags from all states and several countries hanging overhead. This facility is made cozier with three gas-burning fireplaces.
Our beautifully landscaped Family Park Pavilion is the right setting for those small company get-togethers or family picnics. This facility comes equipped with a large in-place charcoal BBQ pit, a small playground for children, and restroom facilities.
If basketball is your passion, Curtis Hall has facilities available for your next tournament. The facilities feature bleachers on both sides of the court and food concessions by Riverside Military Academy’s food service provider, Flik Independent School Dining.
Our Olympic size indoor swimming pool in our Natatorium is complete with bleachers for race viewing for up to 500 of your guests.
Summers are filled with overnight campers using our spacious 500-bed Barracks with landscaped-to-perfection Fields for a variety of sports including lacrosse, soccer, football, baseball, basketball, and wrestling. Summer sport camps that we have enjoyed include Ralph Lundy Soccer, UK Elite Soccer, FCA Wrestling, Casey Powell Lacrosse, Academy Lacrosse, and Justin Griffith Football Camp.
Facility reservations for approved uses by groups authorized by Riverside Military Academy will be made and held subject to the following conditions:
A signed, dated contract must be in the possession of Riverside Military Academy no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled event. The required reservation deposit must be received by Riverside Military Academy by the agreed-upon date in order for the space to be held.
Renter shall provide to Riverside Military Academy a certificate of commercial general liability insurance issued by an insurance company authorized to transact business in the State of Georgia, including contractual liability coverage naming Riverside Military Academy as an additional insured. The limit of such insurance shall be not less than $1,000,000 per person, $3,000,000 aggregate. The policy shall provide that it shall not be canceled without thirty days’ prior written notice to Riverside Military Academy. Renter shall deliver the certificate of insurance to the Riverside Military Academy not later than fourteen business days prior to the occupancy and/or use of the premises pursuant to this agreement. If the renter fails to provide such certificate or fails to maintain the insurance in force, in addition to other remedies available to Riverside Military Academy, Riverside Military Academy may, but shall not be required to, secure such insurance on behalf of the renter. In that event, the renter shall reimburse Riverside Military Academy for all costs of such insurance.
Failure to meet the above conditions will result in the cancellation of facility reservations. Additional requirements, rules, and regulations are specified by contract.
Also, if the services of a Riverside Military Academy employee, such as the custodian or electrician, or any audio-visual equipment is needed during your event, a separate line item fee will be added to the final invoice as indicated in our rental fee summary sheet upon request.
No food may be served or sold except through the food service at Riverside Military Academy, unless cleared through Riverside Military Academy and its food service provider, Flik Independent School Dining. No food or drink is allowed inside the Sandy Beaver Center.
Parking at Riverside Military Academy is limited and may be distant from your facility, and it is highly recommended that guests plan on early arrival or renter may opt for shuttle service. A separate line item fee will be added to the final invoice as indicated in our rental fee summary sheet upon request.
