Spiritual Life

Riverside Military Academy believes in and promotes the development of the whole person, including spiritual instruction and the value of worship. The ethnic and cultural representation in our student population results in a community of diverse faith backgrounds.

Each Sunday, cadets have the option of attending Riverside's on-campus chapel services, which are conducted with a Judeo-Christian perspective, an organized observance with our Jewish Students Association, or one of several off-campus churches near the Riverside campus. These churches include St. Michael Catholic Church, Grace Episcopal Church, Gainesville First United Methodist Church, First Presbyterian Church, and Lakewood Baptist Church.

Riverside's chaplain, Dr. David Bailey, also leads weekly Bible studies and offers pastoral counsel as needed.
