School Counselor

Riverside Military Academy is accepting applications for a School Counselor for the 2013-2014 academic year. This position is a full-time, ten-month contract position with benefits. Incumbent has the responsibility of providing individual student planning, college counseling, large group guidance, responsive services, and system support including AP test coordination. Periodic weekend work is required. Applicant must have a minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited university in school counseling and be certified in school counseling. Excellent oral and written communication in English required. All applicants must pass a post-employment drug screen and background check. On-Call Substitute Teachers

Riverside Military Academy has an immediate opening for On-call Substitute Teachers. Substitute teachers are on-call for times when a regular teacher has a planned or unplanned event and cannot be in the classroom and are expected to be available on short notice. Compensation rate for substitute teachers is $70.00 per teaching day. Qualified applicants must possess at least a bachelor's degree. Riverside Military Academy has an immediate opening for a part-time, weekend Security Officers. Applicant must be able to work two eleven-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday and one eight hour shift on Monday. Qualified candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and have a valid Georgia Driver's License. Candidates must also be able stand and walk for long periods of time, be able to lift 50 lbs, and climb 4 flights of stairs. Starting salary is $8.00 per hour.
