Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program
Attention Georgia taxpayers and Riverside Military Academy supporters! The State of Georgia has created an incredible opportunity for individuals and C-Corporations to redirect a portion of their Georgia state income tax to provide scholarships for eligible students to attend Georgia private schools such as Riverside.
Under the law, individual taxpayers receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit against their Georgia income tax liability for amounts contributed to GOAL, up to $1,000 if filing singly or up to $2,500 if filing jointly. C-Corporations receive a tax credit for amounts contributed up to 75% of their Georgia income tax liability.
In order to increase the amount of financial aid Riverside Military Academy is able to offer to new students transferring from the public school system, we are working with the Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program, a state-approved student scholarship organization. Please take time to read the letters below from RMA President, Dr. James H. Benson, and alumnus Dr. Thomas G. Hill in support of this program.
Letter from Dr. James H. Benson, Ed.D., Col, USMC (Ret), President
Letter from Dr. Thomas G. Hill, III, Class of 1960
