Riverside Military Academy tennis team is comprised of talented athletes at various levels of ability who enjoy the game of tennis. Riverside's campus features eight lighted tennis courts for practice and competition.

What we offer:

RMA has the unique opportunity this year for on-campus group tennis lessons (Group Tennis Lessons). Coach Grobeck will be working with an outside tennis pro who will provide these lessons. They will be given during GSA (General Sports & Activities) time (3:30 to 5:45) after school at RMA. There will be three sessions of group lessons during the pre-season. The maximum number of players will be 6 in a group session. The lessons during sessions 1 & 2 will be 1.5 hours long. You must schedule these lessons directly through Coach Grobeck and the local pro.

This upcoming fall we will be opening up the tennis courts for the opportunity to meet new tennis players. If your son is interested in tennis at RMA please contact Coach Grobeck by email at jgrobeck@riversidemilitary.com.

Tournaments:

We currently have a tournament schedule for this fall posted online for those cadets who are interested in participating (See schedule link at bottom of this page). RMA will provide transportation to these local tournament venues. All cadets interested must sign up with the USTA (www.usta.com) and let Coach Grobeck know that you will need transportation.

Racket Stringing:

The Chattahoochee Country Club located here in Gainesville has provided all the re-stringing jobs done for the cadets in the past. If a cadet needs a racket re-strung we will take it to Chattahoochee Country Club and they will do it for us. For more information on this please contact Coach Grobeck.
