Tuition
Our comprehensive fee includes tuition, meals, laundry, haircuts, yearbook, and on-campus athletic events. Tuition for U.S. boarding cadets for the 2010-11 academic term is $27,500. Tuition for day cadets for the 2010-11 academic term is $16,500. There is an additional initial uniform issue fee of $2,050 for all new cadets. Tuition is periodically adjusted for mid-year and second semester placements.
Additional Fees:
In addition to the uniform fee noted above with the tuition, cadets may be assessed fees related to routine medication administration and treatment provided by the academy's infirmary staff and for transportation. Replacement or supplemental uniform items will be charged to the cadet's account as needed. Off-campus entertainment excursions and discretionary extracurricular activities are not covered by the basic tuition. Activities typically range from $10-$50 per event, but may be more for special social events. Cadets' accounts are charged for these activities when they register for the event.
The academy provides parents with the opportunity to establish an allowance account for their son, which is distributed weekly. Additionally, accounts may be established to allow your cadet to charge necessities and school supplies in the cadet store and to purchase refreshments in the cadet grill.

Financial Assistance

SSS provides schools with an objective methodology for calculating a family’s ability to contribute to educational expenses.
