Associate Alumni Director
Riverside Military Academy Riverside Military Academy is accepting applications for the position of Associate Alumni Director. Primary duty is to communicate and cultivate relationships with RMA alumni in order to reconnect them to their alma mater. Job duties include event planning (such as Homecoming and Founders' Day events), serving as secretary to the Alumni Council, maintaining the Alumni social media websites, publishing the bi-weekly Alumni e-newsletter, among other duties. Bachelor's degree required with experience in marketing, sales, or fundraising a plus. Must possess strong communication and organizational skills. Must have a working proficiency with Microsoft Office software and social media sites. Incumbent must demonstrate a confident, professional image and have excellent people skills. Riverside Military Academy has an immediate opening for a TAC Officer. TAC officers ensure cadet development within a safe and secure boarding and day school environment by counseling, evaluating, and reporting cadet’s behavior and performance, ensuring operational and procedural uniformity within and across company lines, supervision of cadet’s quarters, and other duties. Qualified applicants must be either retired military or have military experience and possess a bachelor’s degree in the field of Social Science or a related field. Riverside Military Academy is accepting applications for an Admissions Counselor. Primary responsibilities include following established marketing strategies and recruitment activities to achieve enrollment goals in a high-paced sales environment. The applicant must be an energetic, goal-oriented person who can communicate effectively in person, on the phone, and electronically, and possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills. Applicant must also be comfortable with meeting enrollment goals on a monthly and semester basis. Applicants must have strong computer literacy, particularly in working with information databases. A four-year degree in business, marketing, sales, social science, or a related field is preferred. Military experience preferred but not required. Being conversant in Spanish is a plus but not required. Starting salary depends upon education and experience. Riverside Military Academy is accepting applications for a Building & Grounds Keeper. Incumbent will be responsible for grounds work not covered under landscape contact or custodial contract. Work will involve checking gounds for debris/trash, ensuring dumpster areas are clear of trash and insects, preparing sports venues for events, testing irrigation systems, snow and ice removal, outside building maintenance including window washing, pressure washing, serving gutters and drains, as well as other duties. Must be physically fit to allow standing for extended periods of time, walking the perimeter of campus, climbing of stairs and ladders, the ability to push fifty (50) pounds and lift 80 lbs. Must be able to tolerate extreme outdoor temperatures for long periods of time. Must be able to read, write, and understand English to receive and communicate instructions and work progress. Position requires that incumbent drive company vehicles; must have a clean 3-year MVR. Must be able to understand and follow directions with little supervision. Receives medications from pharmacy, reconciles pharmacy receipts with individual medications and records in daily medication logbook. Riverside Military Academy has an immediate opening for a Cadet Store Clerk. Incumbent will act as store cashier and assist customers in finding and purchasing merchandise. Must be able to walk, stand, reach above head, twist, and bend torso. Position requires some strenuous physical activity and the ability to push, lift, and carry heavy packages. Qualified applicants must possess an unrestricted LPN license in the state of Georgia and be available to work from 6 AM - 10 PM on a rotating schedule (one day on and two days off) which includes Saturday and Sunday. Incumbent will assist Academy's Accounting Department in a variety of functions including Accounts Receivables, Account Payables, purchase request and purchase orders entry and processing, and account reconciliations and compilation of data. Position requires incumbent to possess at least two years of accounting experience and have a working knowledge of computerized accounting. Must be computer literate and be able to efficiently operate word processing and spreadsheet software.
