Admissions Process
Most families who are considering an independent school are looking for a quality educational environment that includes individual attention, small classes, teacher excellence, and high academic standards. The key is to determine which educational environment is the right fit for your family. Additional factors that every family should consider are the school’s location, structure, philosophies, extracurricular activities, athletics, and facilities.
The Truth About Riverside
Some hear the words “military academy,” and immediately misperceptions of a reform school come to mind. At Riverside Military Academy, that’s not who we are. We are a college preparatory school. Our military structure? It is in place to enhance our academics and to create well-rounded students who are responsible, confident, and disciplined.
Riverside Military Academy is one of the country’s best military, college preparatory schools for boys. The quality of our academic program, supported and enhanced by outstanding athletics, military structure, and stunning facilities, creates a world-class educational environment.
To begin the admissions process, we encourage you to learn more about us and invite you to visit our campus to see first-hand what sets us apart from other schools. We are also happy to send prospective cadets and families a viewbook with additional information.
Riverside has a rolling admission policy, which means we can accept cadets anytime prior to the last two months of the school year. However, we encourage most students to enroll at the beginning of the fall or spring semester or at the beginning of our summer academic program.
Riverside Military Academy admits students of any race, religion and national or ethnic origin, and is committed to the enrollment of a widely diverse student body.
