Academics at Riverside Military Academy
Riverside Military Academy's small class sizes, individualized attention, and frequent accountability are a proven formula for success. We teach young men in grades 7-12 who desire structure, focus, active learning, and freedom from distractions. Riverside offers college preparatory and college-level courses for young men who are ready for a more rigorous challenge. We also offer English as a Second Language (ESL) courses for our international students.
Over 70 percent of Riverside's dedicated and enthusiastic teaching faculty have earned a master's level degree or higher. We understand the way boys learn, and our teachers incorporate that knowledge into their classes. Our teachers provide a supportive, challenging learning environment that fosters scholarly competence and intellectual curiosity. Our graduates who apply to college have consistently achieved a 100 percent college acceptance record.
Studies have shown that the boarding school experience can be a social and emotional bridge to developing a sense of independence in young people. Boarding school students tend to be more engaged, hard-working, independent, confident, and prepared to face new challenges.
Riverside allows young men to concentrate on the work at hand in order to meet their full academic potential. Our structure helps students to excel in school while preparing them for a lifetime of success!
